Standard & Poor's Initiates Factual Stock Report Coverage on Buffalo Resources Corp.
Standard & Poor’s announced today that it has commenced Factual Stock Report coverage on Buffalo Resources Corp.
Buffalo Resources Corp. (TXV: BFR) engages in the acquisition, exploration, development and production of oil and natural gas from properties in western Canada.
The company's oil and gas production is approximately 3,500 boe/d, weighted approximately 46% to heavy oil, 51% to natural gas and 3% to light oil and NGLs, and is concentrated in Alberta and Saskatchewan. For the ten months ended December 31, 2007, Buffalo's production was 2,956 boe/d.
The company acts as the operator and holds a 50% working interest in more than 50 oil wells in Frog Lake, Alberta. Buffalo has farm-in and participation agreements for 65 sections of undeveloped land with the potential for in excess of 100 low risk drilling opportunities over the next several years. Buffalo has an average 67% working interest in 46 sections of undeveloped land in the Peace River Arch in Alberta. Several high potential oil and gas prospects have been identified targeting zones in the Triassic and Mississippian periods.
Buffalo is finalizing its drilling programs for the remainder of 2008 and plans to drill between 60 and 70 wells. At Frog Lake, the company will drill between 45 and 50 oil wells. The remaining 15 to 20 wells will be drilled in the Peace River Arch of northwest Alberta, at Whitecourt in west central Alberta, at Viking and Jenner in southeast Alberta and in southeast Saskatchewan.
