SRA Names Mary Good as Senior Vice President of Human Resources; Announces Senior Management Appointments in Defense, Communications, Marketing & Sales and Finance Organizations
FAIRFAX, Va., Dec. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SRA International, Inc. , a leading provider of technology and strategic consulting services and solutions to government organizations, today announced the appointment of seven senior executives, including Mary Good as Senior Vice President & Director of Human Resources (HR). Good brings to SRA more than 20 years of HR expertise from organizational development and training to employee relations and recruiting on an international scale.
Good reports to SRA President & Chief Executive Officer Dr. Stanton D. Sloane, and is responsible for leadership development and succession planning, employee relations, benefits, recruiting, work-life balance programs, organizational development, and training and compensation programs. Prior to joining SRA, Good served as senior vice president of HR and facilities with Blackboard Inc., an educational software company. She also has extensive employee relations, work-life and merger and acquisition experience at both the national and global level, gained during her tenure with such companies as American Management Systems and CIGNA Insurance.

In addition to Good, SRA announced six senior management appointments in key business areas. These appointments include:
Defense -- George Batsakis, Vice President and Director, Defense Business Solutions, who oversees the design, development, integration, and implementation of complex information systems for SRA's Department of Defense clients. Batsakis has more than 20 years experience in providing oversight for command and control and logistics integrated systems development, integration, production, and life-cycle support for defense clients. He reports to Senior Vice President and Director, Defense Sector, Patrick Burke. Communications & Public Affairs -- Sheila Blackwell, Vice President and Director, Communications and Public Affairs, who brings more than 20 years experience across a number of communications disciplines including media relations, executive communications and internal communications. She began her career as a television news reporter. She will oversee SRA's global strategy for internal and external communications. Blackwell reports to Sloane. Marketing & Sales -- Ben Gieseman, Vice President and Director, Corporate Pricing, who spent the last 11 years in a number of pricing and program management roles at EDS, managed teams of strategic pricing analysts responsible for financial, pricing and business solutions design for large federal, state and local government procurements. Also at EDS, Gieseman managed a 300-person program for the Department of Education's student loan consolidation and refinancing business. -- Debbie Granberry, Vice President and Director, Business Development, Civil Sector, who leads the identification and capture of task orders and large strategic procurements with federal civil agencies. She has more than 17 years experience in the federal civil government information technology market and extensive experience in leading sales and business development teams. -- Bryan Maizlish, Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer, who comes to SRA with more than 20 years experience in assessing, identifying and developing new and emerging technologies to meet client needs. Maizlish is responsible for leading a number of initiatives in the innovation agenda, overseeing internally- and government-funded research and development of products and solutions and managing the advanced technology group and lab facilities. He will be responsible for driving open innovation through the formation of key partnerships and alliance. In 2005, he co-authored the book IT Portfolio Management. Maizlish joined SRA from Lockheed Martin. Gieseman, Granberry and Maizlish report to SRA Senior Vice President and Director, Marketing & Sales, Michael M. Fox. Finance -- David Schneeman, Vice President & Director of Finance for International Operations, a seasoned financial executive and certified public accountant with nearly 20 years of financial expertise. Schneeman served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), chief accounting officer, controller and director of taxes for a number of companies ranging from Big Four public accounting to start-up and large public companies. He will be responsible for Corporate International Operations and involved in acquisition and process improvement efforts. He reports to SRA CFO and Executive Vice President, Operations, Stephen Hughes.
