Spire Reports Narrower Loss For Q4, Raises Dividend

(RTTNews) - Spire Inc. (SR) Wednesday reported a narrower net loss of $13.3 million for the fourth quarter compared to loss of $14.2 million in the prior year. On a per share basis, loss was $0.28, narrower than $0.31 in the prior year.

On average, 8 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to record a loss of $0.26 per share. Analysts estimates usually exclude special items.

Revenue for the quarter declined to $258.7 million from $279.1 million last year. Wall Street expected $278.74 million.

The company raised its annual dividend by 7.1 percent to $2.25 per share.
