Sling TV To Debut On Apple TV

(RTTNews) - Web friendly Sling TV will be available with Apple TV box at a discounted price. The on-demand service will be available now only in U.S.

Dish's Sling TV working in the cloud has no satellite dish or cable or set top box. More over it will be delivering ESPN and CNN for a nominal price.

Sling TV was announced last year and will debut on Apple TV. The subscription rates will be $20 per month for a pack of cable channels. For additional channel subscribers need to pay $5 each.

At the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference, it was revealed that Apple TV box will be available for $90 for those who subscribe Sling TV for three months. Actual price tag for Apple TV is $150.

Roger Lynch, CEO of Sling TV said, "Delivering the best TV experience for our viewers means being on the devices people want to use - Apple TV is our most requested platform, and we're excited to finally bring Sling TV to Apple TV today." He further noted that incorporating Apple TV innovations like touch with the Siri Remote will enable Sling TV's new UI to deliver the highly polished experience Apple fans have come to expect.
