Skyworks Solutions Inc. Announces 37% Gain In Q4 Bottom Line

(RTTNews) - Skyworks Solutions Inc. (SWKS) revealed a profit for its fourth quarter that increased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $296.1 million, or $1.52 per share. This was up from $216.1 million, or $1.12 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.52 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 22.6% to $880.8 million. This was up from $718.2 million last year.
