Sidus Space Shares Surge 107% After Winning Missile Defense Agency Contract

(RTTNews) - Sidus Space, Inc. (SIDU) shares surged 107.83 percent, or $1.25, to $2.41 on Monday, after the company announced it was selected as a contract awardee under the Missile Defense Agency's Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense program.

The stock was trading at $2.41, up from a previous close of $1.16. Shares opened at $1.95 and moved within a day's range of $1.80 to $2.59 on the Nasdaq. Trading volume jumped to about 318.17 million shares, far above the average daily volume of roughly 2.53 million shares.

Sidus Space is currently trading within a 52-week range of $0.63 to $6.75.
