Shuffle Master, Inc. to Introduce New Products at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas, Nevada, Nov. 13-15, 2007
Shuffle Master, Inc. (NASDAQ Global Select Market: SHFL)
announced today that it will introduce a wide range of new products at
this year’s Global Gaming Expo being held in
Las Vegas, Nevada, November 13-15. In addition to displaying
well-established products like the Company’s
Ace® and one2six™
automatic card shufflers and its Three Card Poker®
and Ultimate Texas Hold’em™
proprietary table games, the booth will highlight the Company’s
newest products including its latest single deck specialty shuffler,
several new table games and side bets, and several electronic table game
platform enhancements.
Utility Products
World renowned for their exceptional engineering and unparalleled
performance, Shuffle Master’s Utility Products
are designed to increase table game productivity, profitability and
security. Featuring a variety of shufflers that can be used for nearly
every live table game, a next-generation roulette chip sorter and
several other productivity enhancing devices, the Company’s
G2E exhibit will highlight the following products:
i-Deal™:
As Shuffle Master’s third generation single
deck specialty shuffler, the i-Deal is the fastest of our single deck
shufflers and features several key enhancements including standard
card recognition technology that reads the rank and suit of each card
being dealt and a deck-sorting function.
i-Shoe™
intelligent shoe: A smart alternative to a traditional shoe, the
i-Shoe increases baccarat and blackjack game security by reading the
rank and suit of each card being dealt. Unique in its ability to learn
to recognize any brand of unmarked playing card, the i-Shoe interfaces
with an attractive display to post the outcome of each round.
Live Table Games and Side Bets
As the gaming industry’s fastest growing
product segment, specialty table games and side bets represent an
important part of the overall casino table game mix. Featuring a variety
of poker derivatives available both as live games as well as
electronically on its multiple content delivery systems, the booth will
also emphasize the following new table games and side bets:
Three Card Draw Poker ™,
an exciting new game where players receive three cards as well as a "draw”
card that they can use in place of one discarded card. Three Card Draw
features head-to-head play against the dealer and a Bonus bet that
pays odds when a player’s final hand
contains a flush or better.
Five Card Omaha Poker™,
a new game based on the popular poker game Omaha. Players receive four
cards and combine two of them with three action cards to make their
best five-card poker hand. Five Card Omaha also features a Bonus bet
that pays when a player’s cards contain two
pair or better and wins regardless of whether the player folds or
loses to the dealer.
Caribbean Stud Bonus™,
a new spin on an old favorite that enhances the game’s
head-to-head play against the dealer with an optional bonus bet that
rewards players when their hand contains a pair of 10s or better.
Caribbean Stud Bonus also features a progressive jackpot that awards
100% of the incrementing jackpot when a player’s
final hand is a royal flush.
Electronic Table Systems™
By combining popular table game content with state-of-the-art
technology, Shuffle Master’s Electronic Table
Systems automate the table gaming experience and provide casinos with a
wealth of information about game play and player betting behavior.
Additionally, because they automate all payouts and record all wagering
activity, the Company’s ETS products enable
casinos to offer popular table games more securely and efficiently than
live tables. Featuring several of Shuffle Master’s
proprietary titles as well as other popular games, the booth will
highlight the following new platform enhancements:
Vegas Star®:
A state-of-the-art multi-player table game platform that combines an
animated dealer with up to 32 individual betting stations, Vegas Star
will be presented in its Classic, Nova and Satellite configurations
and will feature the following new titles:
Star Craps™,
an entirely electronic craps game that enables players to
virtually "roll the dice”
using their individual touch screens. Featuring a variety of game
screen options that make craps easy to learn and play for even
novice players, Star Craps is an excellent way for racinos and
other venues not permitted to operate live table games to offer
this popular game to their players.
Progressive Jackpot Blackjack™,
a new electronic blackjack game that enhances standard blackjack
with a bonus jackpot round that is triggered whenever a Diamond
Blackjack is dealt and an appealing "free
look” feature that allows players to
double their initial bet after viewing their first card and the
dealer’s first card.
Table Master™: An electronic
multiple-player table game with five player stations that enables
casinos to offer table game hits like Three Card Poker®
and Let It Ride Bonus®
at a fraction of the cost of live tables. Table Master nearly doubles
the number of hands played per hour and offers greater flexibility in
game wager amounts.
Four Card Poker®,
an exciting game that rewards skill, patience and nerve. Players
receive five cards to make their best four-card poker hand and may bet
up to three times their ante when staying in the game. Featuring
head-to-head play against the dealer, Four Card also includes an
optional Aces Up™ bonus bet that pays odds
when a player’s final four card hand
contains a pair of aces or better.
Bet the Set "21”™
Blackjack, a popular side bet for blackjack that focuses on the
first two cards a player receives with the top hand, a pair in suit,
receiving payouts as high as 25 to 1. With its ability to turn a
losing blackjack hand into a big winner, Bet the Set "21”
features a variety of paytables for multi-deck games.
Rapid Table Games®Combining
a dealer and a live game with electronic player stations, Rapid Table
Games increase game frequency and security by automating all aspects
of the wagering process. With a variety of configurations that can
accommodate additional player positions as traffic increases, Rapid
Table Games offer unparalleled flexibility and the following enhanced
game options:
Rapid Baccarat™
combines Shuffle Master’s i-Shoe™
card reading shoe and a live dealer with traditional baccarat game
play to dramatically increase game security, and can accommodate up to
100 individual players. Rapid Baccarat also features several optional
side bets including Dragon Bonus®,
the industry’s most popular baccarat side
bet the rewards players when their selected hand wins by at least four
points.
Paul C. Meyer, President and Chief Operating Officer, commented that
this year Shuffle Master will display more products than ever before
including a variety of new table games offered on the company’s
multiple Electronic Table System platforms. "In
addition to including eleven new felt-based table games, our G2E product
lineup features several new content selections on our ETS tables
including Four Card Poker on Table Master and Star Craps, our new
electronic multi-player craps game built on our Vegas Star platform. We
will also highlight our i-Deal single deck shuffler and its jackpot
verification feature, a revolutionary enhancement that enables casinos
to authenticate large payout hands.” "This year’s
Global Gaming Expo will be a significant event for Shuffle Master
because, in addition to exhibiting many of our well-established Utility
and Entertainment Products, we will emphasize the strength of our
unparalleled Entertainment Products content portfolio and the
versatility of our Electronic Table Systems,”
stated Mark L. Yoseloff, Ph.D., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "These
alternative ways of providing popular gaming content are emerging as key
elements in many casinos throughout the world, and we anticipate that
the new developments in each platform will be welcomed by the show’s
attendees.”
