On October 19, 2017, after the Market closed, Axon announced that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") is reviewing the Company's financial filings.  Specifically, Axon has received three letters from the SEC requesting additional information regarding Axon's 2016 annual report and the Company's quarterly report for the first quarter of 2017.  Axon advised investors that Axon only recently became aware of the SEC's letters, the earliest of which was dated August 10, 2017.  The SEC's third letter to Axon, dated September 20, 2017, informed the Company that the SEC's inquiries were "outstanding and unresolved, and absent a substantive response, we would act consistent with our obligations under the federal securities laws."  That most recent SEC letter added: "As you have not provided a substantive response, we are terminating our review and will take further steps as we deem appropriate."

Following this news, Axon's share price fell $1.61, or 6.54%, to close at $23.01 on October 20, 2017.
