Shanda Games Q4 Profit Declines - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Shanda Games Limited (GAME) said that its net income attributable to shareholders for the fourth quarter of 2013 declined to RMB335.3 million or $55.0 million, from RMB357.4 million in the fourth quarter of 2012. Earnings per ADS for the fourth quarter were RMB1.24 or $0.20, compared with RMB1.32 last year.

On a Non-GAAP basis, net income attributable to shareholders was RMB361.6 million or $59.4 million, down 8.2% from last year. Earnings per ADS were RMB1.34 or $0.22, compared with RMB1.46 in the prior year.

Quarterly net revenues were RMB1.029 billion or $168.8 million, a decrease of 6.0% from RMB1.095 billion in the fourth quarter of 2012.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.22 per share and revenues of $187.49 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
