Shanda Games Q2 Profit Down - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Shanda Games Limited (GAME), online game developer, operator and publisher in China, reported that its net income attributable to the Company's shareholders for the second quarter of 2014 declined to RMB300.0 million or $48.8 million, from RMB486.1 million in the second quarter of 2013. Earnings per ADS were RMB1.10 or $0.18, down from RMB1.82 last year.

Non-GAAP earnings per ADS were RMB1.20 or $0.20, compared to RMB1.92 in the prior year quarter.

Quarterly net revenues were RMB964.4 million or $156.7 million, a decrease of 11.8% from RMB1.093 billion last year. Net revenues generated from mobile games were RMB85.8 million or $13.9 million, a decrease of 15.7% from RMB101.8 million in the prior year.
