Service Corporation International Q4 Profit Beats Estimates - Quick Facts
(RTTNews) - Service Corporation International (SCI) reported that its fourth-quarter net income attributable to stockholders decreased to $25.8 million or $0.12 per share, from $26.4 million or $0.12 per share, last year. Earnings from continuing operations excluding special items was $59.2 million or $0.27 per share, for the quarter. On average, four analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.24 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Revenues increased to $668.6 million, from $629.4 million, a year ago. Analysts expected revenue of $654.00 million for the quarter. The company reiterated its outlook for potential earnings and cash flow ranges for the full year of 2014. Earnings per share from continuing operations excluding special items, is expected to be in the range of $1.00 to $1.10. Analysts expect the company to report fiscal 2014 earnings per share of $1.03.
