Serco Americas Announces New Roles in Senior Leadership

RESTON, Va., Oct. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Serco Inc., a provider of professional, technology, and management services, announced today new roles in its senior leadership.  Ed Casey, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Serco Inc., will be moving to a new global senior leadership position at Serco Group plc as Chief Transformation Officer.  Daniel Allen will join Serco Inc. as its new Chairman and CEO.  Mike Plymack, Senior Vice President of Serco's Federal Civilian Services Business Group, is being promoted to Chief Operating Officer.  These transitions will be taking place over the next two months with a completion date of December 15, 2013 when Casey, Allen and Plymack will assume their new roles.  

As Chief Transformation Officer, Casey will be working directly with the leaders of the four Serco divisions (UK & Europe, Americas, AMEAA, and Global Services) to further develop our operations and organization to support our strategy and will also lead Serco Group's Corporate Affairs function.  Casey will continue to report to Chris Hyman, Serco Group Chief Executive, and will continue as a member of the Global Executive Committee.

With Casey's new role, Dan Allen has joined Serco Inc. as Chairman and CEO.  Allen brings a strong background in the services and information technology sector to Serco.  Prior to Serco, he served as the CEO and President of CACI International Inc. and held senior leadership roles at Northrop Grumman and General Dynamics.

Mike Plymack, Serco's Senior Vice President of the Federal Civilian Services Business Group will assume a new role reporting to Dan Allen as Chief Operating Officer (COO).  Plymack has run Serco's Federal Civilian Group for nearly two years, leading four of the company's operating business units focused on providing managed services, professional services, transportation management, and learning/human capital solutions for a wide range of government agencies.
