Select Comfort Corp Q3 Profit Drops 19%

(RTTNews) - Select Comfort Corp (SCSS) released earnings for third quarter that dropped compared to the same period last year.

The company said its profit came in at $25.75 million, or $0.56 per share. This was down from $31.85 million, or $0.62 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.57 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 1.6% to $367.99 million. This was down from $373.92 million last year.
