SBA Communications Swings To Q3 Loss

(RTTNews) - SBA Communications Corporation (SBAC) Tuesday reported third-quarter net loss of $16.6 million or $0.13 per share, compared to a profit of $21.5 million or $0.17 per share last year.

Total revenues for the third quarter were $393.3 million compared to $332.1 million last year, an increase of 18.4 percent.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.01 per share on revenues of $386.5 million for the quarter. Analysts' estiamtes typically exclude one-time items.

For the fourth quarter, the company expects revenues of $390.5 million to $400.5 million. Analysts currently estimate revenues of $394.9 million.

For the full year 2014, the company expects revenues of $1.51 billion to $1.52 billion, compared to prior forecast of $1.50 billion to $1.52 billion. Analysts currently estimate revenues of $1.51 billion.

For the full year 2015, the company expects revenues of $1.64 billion to $1.69 billion. Analysts currently estimate revenues of $1.68 billion.
