Santander Consumer USA Appoints William Rainer Board Chairman - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Santander Consumer USA Holdings Inc. (SC) announced that William Rainer, a current member of the SC Board, has been appointed Chairman of the Board. Blythe Masters has resigned from the SC Board to take on a new role with Banco Santander, S.A. as Group Senior Advisor on blockchain. Masters will also join Banco Santander's International Advisory Board.

Rainer served as Chair and Chief Executive Officer of OneChicago LLC from 2001 to 2004, prior to which he was Chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission from 1999 to 2001, and Chairman of the United States Enrichment Corporation from 1994 to 1998. He founded Greenwich Capital Markets, Inc. in 1981.
