Saglo expands their footprint in Florida and enters Georgia for the first time

MIAMI, Jan. 10, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Miami-based  is expanding across the Southeast with its purchase of Mays Crossing in Stockbridge, GA and Goldenrod Marketplace in Orlando, FL in the 4^th quarter of 2018. Saglo Development owns over 1,650,000 square feet of retail properties.  While current holdings are in Jacksonville, Tampa and South Florida the acquisition of these two properties are their first in Greater Atlanta and Orlando.  Saglo typically purchases larger shopping centers greater than 100,000 square feet in size located in areas with strong employment drivers.

Saglo purchased the 124,635 square foot Goldenrod Marketplace through Cushman & Wakefield. The property is shadow anchored by Wal-Mart Supercenter and anchored by LA Fitness, Marshalls, and Dollar Tree.  Close proximity to the explosive growth taking place in the Lake Nona Market will foster the continued success of the shopping center.

Saglo purchased the 138,241 square foot Mays Crossing through Newmark Knight Frank.  The property is anchored by Big Lots, dd's Discounts, Dollar Tree, Hibbett Sports, and Aaron's Rent. The property was built in 1984 and renovated in 2007 & 2017.  Saglo was attracted to the property due to the strong lineup of credit tenants, daily traffic counts of over 64,000 vehicles per day at the intersection, superior access and unobstructed visibility.
