Rupert Murdoch Engaged To Supermodel Jerry Hall

(RTTNews) - It is again wedding time for media mogul Rupert Murdoch. He announced his engagement with former supermodel Jerry Hall. This is the fourth marriage for 84-year-old Murdoch, who has six children. Jerry is 59 and got four children from the previous marriage.

The Times online reported that Penny Fowler, niece of Murdoch introduced Jerry to him some four months ago. They appeared together for the first time at the rugby World cup final in last October. They attended Golden Globe award ceremony and got engaged at the weekend in Los Angeles.

The Times newspaper carried the announcement: "Mr Rupert Murdoch, father of Prudence, Elisabeth, Lachlan, James, Grace and Chloe Murdoch, and Miss Jerry Hall, mother of Elizabeth, James, Georgia and Gabriel Jagger, are delighted to announce their engagement."

The Australia-born Murdoch has a net worth of more than $12 billion and owns more than 800 companies in 50 countries. He got married to Patricia Booker in 1956 and in 1967, to Ann Murdoch Mann. He then married Wendi Deng Murdoch in 1999 and after 14 years they got separated in 2013.
