RTP, Part of Active Network, Launches the LiveInfo™ Mobile App Platform for Resorts and Parks

RTP, part of Active Network, Inc. (NYSE:ACTV), the leading provider of organization-based cloud computing applications, today launched its LiveInfo™ mobile application platform that enables resorts, parks and attractions to provide its customers with customizable information in branded iPhone and Android apps.

Apps built on the LiveInfo platform offer consumers a way to easily share photos and updates with friends via social media, track their performance with GPS, and get up-to-the-second weather and information feeds, all within one app. Consumers will be able to download the customized app per the instructions of the respective resorts and parks.

LiveInfo is one of the only platforms available with branded content that is fully managed and controlled by the resorts and parks. This mid-level offering can also be seamlessly upgraded to the RTP LivePass® platform, which provides businesses an easy way to integrate their mobile and enterprise technology to better engage their customers. Companies use RTP technology to integrate critical commerce functions such as ticketing, point-of-sale, eCommerce, mobile commerce and third-party channel ticket management. Managing these functions within a centralized system allows businesses the ability to optimize daily and long-term results.

Additionally, the consumer REALSKI app that was announced in December 2009 will have an updated version available from iTunes® later this month. The REALSKI app allows users to navigate trails and on-mountain features at more than 100 North American ski resorts in real-time. The updates include precise vertical run tracking with GPS so users can track how many vertical feet they have skied, flat map functionality and eight additional North American ski resort maps.
