Rovi Corp. Profit Advances 32% In Q4

(RTTNews) - Rovi Corp. (ROVI) revealed earnings for its fourth quarter that increased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $53.01 million, or $0.65 per share. This was higher than $40.15 million, or $0.44 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.37 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 11.4% to $149.54 million. This was up from $134.22 million last year.
