Rivian Welcomes Business Leaders from Bloomington, Normal, and McLean County, Illinois to Tour Its Plymouth, Michigan Operations

NORMAL, Ill. and PLYMOUTH, Mich., April 18, 2018 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Rivian hosted representatives from government, education and business from Bloomington, Normal and McLean County, IL at Rivian's new design and engineering center in Plymouth, MI. These members of the Economic Development Commission helped attract Rivian to acquire the 2.6 million square foot manufacturing facility in central Illinois.

Meeting with Rivian executives, they received a behind the scenes tour of Rivian's vehicle design, advanced engineering and proprietary technology for its first two fully electric vehicles, a pick-up truck and SUV. The Company also provided an overview of its business strategy and production plans.
