Rich Arts Programming in Sainte-Thérèse
The Government of Canada supports the presenter Odyscène
SAINTE-THÉRÈSE, QC, Jan. 11, 2019 /CNW/ - The Government of Canada is committed to promoting the presentation of the arts from coast to coast to coast, in both rural and urban communities. Arts presenters help Canadians discover and appreciate artists in various disciplines.
The Honourable Pablo Rodriguez, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Multiculturalism, today announced $30,000 in funding for the organization Odyscène.
Each year, Odyscène offers residents of Sainte-Thérèse and the surrounding area diverse performing arts programming (song, music, dance, creative theatre, comedy and variety shows), much of which is intended for schools and families. The organization presents its annual programming at three locations: Théâtre Lionel-Groulx, Cabaret BMO Sainte-Thérèse and Salle Pierre-Legault.
This funding, provided through the Canada Arts Presentation Fund, will enable Odyscène to present various performances and activities as part of its 2019–20 programming.
