Republic Airways June Traffic Up 16%; Boosts Q2 Earnings Outlook

(RTTNews) - Republic Airways Holdings Inc. (RJET) said Wednesday that it generated 1.04 billion revenue passenger miles in June, up 16% ifrom 896.73 million revenue passenger miles in the same month last year.

Capacity for the month increased 13% to 1.26 billion available seat miles from $1.11 billion available seat miles in the asme month a year earlier.

URepublic Airways reported a load factor of 82.5% for June 2014, compared to 80.8% for June 2013.

The company reiterated its second quarter operating revenue guidance of $340 million to $350 million, but raised the earnings guidance for the quarter to a range of $0.30 to $0.35 per share from its prior guidance of $0.35 to $0.40 per share.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expect the company to earn $0.34 per hare on revenue of $348.76 million for the second quarter.
