Rémy Cointreau Appoints Chief Financial Officer to Succeed Frédéric Pflanz

Luca Marotta is succeeding Frédéric Pflanz, who has assumed new responsibilities within the Rémy Cointreau Group (Paris:RCO).
Luca Marotta, aged 47, has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of the Rémy Cointreau Group. Luca Marotta joined the L’Oréal Group in 1999 where he was Finance Director of the Italian subsidiary, and subsequently Chief Financial Officer of the International Luxury Products Division in France for the Wider European Region. Since 2010, he has been Chief Financial Officer of the Consumer Products Division, based in Paris. Prior to working with L’Oréal, Luca Marotta held various financial positions within the Audit sector and subsequently within a Japanese industrial group in Milan. He is a graduate in Economics and Trade from the Catholic University of Milan and has a doctorate in tax law. Luca Marotta has already joined the Rémy Cointreau Group.
Frédéric Pflanz, who joined the Group in 2010 as Chief Financial Officer, has also been Chief Operating Officer since December 2012.
Frédéric Pflanz will succeed Jean-Marie Laborde, whose term of office as Chief Executive Officer of Rémy Cointreau will end on 30 September 2013.
