RELLECIGA Salutes the 1st Bikini

HOUSTON, Aug. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Summer is the season of beaches and bikinis. When those hot bikini ladies pass us on the beach laughing and joking, it's without exaggeration that we are enjoying a visual feast. However, when girls are showing off in their bikinis they are actually showing off a style of swimwear with quite a lengthy history. Have you ever wondered about the origin of bikinis? What did the first bikini look like? How did they conquer the whole world?

"The origins of bikinis can be traced back to antiquity," said Agrawala, P.K., an expert in the subject. However, the modern bikini was born in 1946. 67 years ago, French fashion designer Jacques Heim began advertising a two-piece swimsuit for his beach shop in Riviera. "Atome", which is a French word and means white in English, was what he called this swimsuit. He claimed that it was the world's "smallest bathing suit". But, bikinis weren't introduced to the media and public until Louis Reard, a mechanical engineer, showcased them in Paris later on. The atomically shocking influence it brought to the fashion industry and even the globe is what helped determine its name. It was the first time for ladies to reveal their navels. The swimsuit was then called le bikini.

Before long, bikinis became ubiquitous all over the Europe, and then around the world. The conservative concept of clothing for ladies was gone; instead, fashionable and simple ideas inspired fashionistas around the world.

In order to salute such a great creation, RELLECIGA ("RC") will launch a commemorative edition high waist bikini in 2014. A group of old photographs showing the hottest and sexiest Hollywood actresses of the 1950s and 1960s wearing swimsuits inspired our designers. They refined the high waist element and added various other elements to make it a good representation of a wonderful vintage fashion. High waist bottoms are sexy and classy and RC's creation is too. RC's commemorative edition high waist bikini is elegant and fits all types of ladies while also bringing out the wearer's sexy side. "The world's sexiest women wear the world's sexiest – RELLECIGA", this is not just a slogan, RC is trying hard to make it true! Every lady can be a sexy beauty when wearing a RELLECIGA Bikini!

And RELLECIGA will bring you more! Besides the commemorative edition high waist bikini, RC will also bring you a brand new lace bikini series. People who know RC well may be familiar with the fact that RC has spearheaded the swimwear industry's lace trend and RELLECIGA's lace bikinis are popular with fashionable women all over the world. Thanks to RC's comprehensive understanding of fashion, it is able to stay one step ahead of rivals and become a trend leader. This time, RC foresees that the vintage trend will sweep the beaches in 2014 due to its marvelous sense of fashion. As one of the representative elements of vintage, lace will keep being popular in the swimwear industry and RELLECIGA will use it in future bikini designs. What kind of surprise RC will bring to lace bikinis next year? Let's wait and see!
