RC2 Names New Chief Financial Officer
RC2 Corporation (NASDAQ:RCRC), today announced that Peter A. Nicholson has been named Chief Financial Officer of the Company, effective immediately. Current CFO, Jody L. Taylor, will remain with the Company in a risk management leadership role.
Curt Stoelting, RC2’s CEO commented, "I’m pleased to announce that Pete Nicholson has agreed to join RC2 as our new Chief Financial Officer. Pete, who has been assisting the Company over the last several months, has already made positive contributions and we will benefit from his experience and leadership in the years ahead. I’m equally pleased that Jody Taylor will be remaining with the Company. She has made tremendous contributions during her twelve years with RC2. Jody’s new role will allow her to continue to contribute while providing her with additional flexibility.”
Since July 2008, Pete Nicholson has been a consultant to the Company, reporting to the CEO and assisting the Company with various financial related projects, including the Company’s recent refinancing. Prior to joining RC2 Corporation, Nicholson served as the CFO of both publicly and privately-held companies, including Total Control Products (formerly NASDAQ: TCPS) from 1996 to 2000 and Proface America, Inc., a majority-owned subsidiary of Digital Electronics Corporation (formerly publicly traded on the Osaka Japan exchange) from 2001 through 2004. Since 2005, Nicholson has been providing various financial reporting consulting services to private equity firms, public companies and privately-held entities. Nicholson was with the audit practice of Arthur Andersen LLP in Chicago from 1985 to 1995.
