Randy Cross, a NFL Super Bowl Champion Veteran, Joins the Board of Directors of Stratus Media Group, Inc., a Sports and Live Entertainment Company

Stratus Media Group, Inc. (OTCBB:SMDI) a sports and live entertainment company, today announced the appointment of Randall ("Randy”) Cross to the Board of Directors effective immediately.

"Mr. Cross brings an incredible wealth of knowledge and experience to SMDI from being a 13-year NFL veteran for the San Francisco 49ers, a Network sports game analyst for CBS, NBC and Sirius Radio, and for his philanthropy leadership in which he was awarded the Man of the Year award,” said Paul Feller, SMDI’s Chairman and CEO. "He’s going to be a terrific Director and we’re excited and honored that he has chosen to join our board of directors.”

Mr. Cross, a 13-year NFL veteran and three-time All-Pro and Pro Bowler, was a center and guard for the San Francisco 49ers and helped lead the team to three Super Bowl championships. He was the 49ers' Offensive Lineman of the Year in 1986, 1987 and 1988 and was voted the 49ers' Man of the Year in 1985 for his work in the community.

Mr. Cross, who returned to CBS Sports in 1998 as an analyst for "THE NFL ON CBS," begins his second year as an analyst on "THE NFL TODAY," the CBS Television Network's NFL studio show. Cross had previously worked for the Network as a game analyst from 1989 to 1993 and was a member of the CBS Sports team covering the NFC Divisional Playoffs and Championship games and Super Bowl XXVI. In addition, he served as an analyst for CBS Radio Sports' coverage of Super Bowl XXIV.

Mr. Cross, born April 25, 1954 in New York, grew up in Southern California and attended UCLA where he was a two-time All-American. Mr. Cross holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and was drafted by the 49ers' in the 1976 NFL Draft.
