Questar Q1 Profit Tops View; Backs FY14 EPS Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Questar Corp. (STR) Tuesday reported first-quarter net income of $85.1 million or $0.48 per share, compared to $72.9 million or $0.41 per share in the comparable quarter last year.

On average, nine analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.47 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues declined to $456.90 million from $476.90 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $489.60 million.

For the full-year 2014, Questar continues to expect earnings in the range of $1.18 to $1.28 per share. Analysts currently expect full-year earnings of $1.26 per share.
