Quality Systems Bottom Line Climbs 68% In Q2

(RTTNews) - Quality Systems (QSII) announced a profit for its second quarter that advanced from last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $12.97 million, or $0.21 per share. This was up from $7.72 million, or $0.13 per share, in last year's second quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.14 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 4.0% to $125.37 million. This was up from $120.52 million last year.
