Purkeys Releases New Liftgate Charging System/Nosebox Combo

LOWELL, Ark., Nov. 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Purkeys has announced the launch of its latest groundbreaking innovation in liftgate charging systems: a new generation of the DIRECT™. This release offers three options for liftgate charging systems—each housed within a nosebox.

"Combining the liftgate charging system with the nosebox saves real estate on the front of the trailer," explains Justin Alder, a Purkeys engineer. "This will help eliminate some of the challenges fleets face with installing so many different components on the front of the trailer."

 Each of the three options—the DIRECT PLUS, DIRECT FLEX, and DIRECT MAX—provides fleets with a different power option based on their application and needs, as well as integrates the 7-way/dual pole receptacle into a new, custom, reinforced nylon nosebox.
