Principal Financial Group Announces Senior Management Promotions

(RTTNews) - Principal Financial Group (PFG) announced it has promoted Terry Lillis as executive vice president and chief financial officer. The company also promoted Gary Scholten to executive vice president and chief information officer. Beth Raymond is promoted to senior vice president and chief human resources officer.

Mary O'Keefe, senior vice president and chief marketing officer, will retire at the end of June 2014 after more than 24 years with The Principal.

Lillis joined The Principal in 1982 as an actuarial student. He held various senior actuarial and management roles through 2000 when he was named chief financial officer - Retirement & Investor Services. He was promoted to senior vice president and chief financial officer for The Principal in 2008.
