Pre-market Movers For Sept 12 (AAPL, FB, EXTR, SNTA, P, LULU, VRA, MW)
(RTTNews) - Gainers:
Apple Inc. (AAPL) is gaining 1 percent to $472.46.
Facebook, Inc. (FB) is up 1 percent to $45.57.
Extreme Networks Inc. (EXTR) is rising 10 percent to $4.50. The company has agreed to acquire Enterasys, a privately-held, provider of wired and wireless network infrastructure and security solutions, for $180 million in cash. Extreme Networks expects this acquisition to be immediately accretive, excluding transaction, integration and purchase accounting related costs.
Synta Pharmaceuticals Corp. (SNTA) is up 11 percent to $7.50. The U.S. FDA has granted Fast Track designation to the investigation of ganetespib, the company's lead Hsp90 inhibitor drug candidate, to improve overall survival when administered in combination with docetaxel for the treatment of patients with metastatic non-small cell lung adenocarcinoma who have progressed following one prior chemotherapy regimen.
Pandora Media, Inc. (P) is up 6 percent to $22.74 following the news that it has named Brian McAndrews as its new chief executive officer, president and chairman, with immediate effect.
Decliners:
Lululemon Athletica Inc. (LULU) is falling 6 percent to $64.40. The company's second quarter results were above Wall Street view. Meanwhile, the company forecast third quarter results below analysts' expectations and also lowered its full-year forecast.
Vera Bradley, Inc. (VRA) is down 9 percent to $17.65 and The Men's Wearhouse, Inc. (MW) is declining 12 percent to $35.25 following the release of their quarterly results.
