Ford Motor Co. (F) is gaining over 3 percent to $18.16. The company's third quarter earnings declined from the year-ago quarter, while its adjusted earnings per share topped Wall Street view. Revenues improved from the prior year period and came in above the consensus estimate. Ford currently expects total company pre-tax profit to be higher than 2012.
Natus Medical Inc. (BABY) is rising 17 percent to $17.76. The company swung to a profit in its third quarter. Revenue rose 5 percent and came in above the consensus estimate. The company also its raised revenue and earnings guidance for the fourth quarter and full year 2013.
McKesson Corp. (MCK) is gaining 6 percent to $152.00. The company's second quarter results were higher than in the last year period. The company raised its 2013 earnings per share from continuing operations guidance range. Earlier today, McKesson announced its plan to buy German drug distributor Celesio AG (CAKFF.PK) in a transaction valued at about $8.3 billion, including debt.

SIRIUS XM Radio Inc. (SIRI) is falling 3 percent to $3.94. The company's third quarter earnings declined from the prior year period. Revenue improved 11 percent, but missed the consensus estimate. Although the company increased its revenue guidance for 2013, the revised guidance is below Street view. The company also forecast fiscal 2014 revenue below analysts' expectation.
Xerox Corp. (XRX) is down 2 percent to $10.48. The company's third quarter earnings topped Street view, while its revenues missed the consensus estimate. The company guided fourth quarter earnings below market view and also lowered its full-year 2013 earnings forecast.
Dow Chemical Co. (DOW) is falling more than 3 percent to $39.50. The company's third quarter results came in below Street view.
Wi-Lan Inc. (WILN) is plunging 25 percent to $2.95 based on the news that the jury determined that its U.S. Patent No RE37,802 was not infringed by Apple Inc. (AAPL).
Novadaq Technologies Inc. (NVDQ) is falling 10 percent to $2.95. The company announced that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of its common shares.
Trading halt:
Trading in shares of Rigel Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (RIGL) was halted. The company announced that R333, which was being evaluated as a potential therapeutic for active skin lesions in patients with discoid lupus erythematosus, did not meet the primary endpoint in a recently completed Phase 2 clinical study. In light of these overall findings, Rigel has decided not to pursue this indication further with R333.
