Power Integrations Posts Q3 Profit - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Power Integrations Inc. (POWI) Wednesday reported third-quarter profit of $16.7 million or $0.54 per share, compared to a loss of $44.41 million or $1.54 per share in the same period last year.

Adjusted earnings for the quarter was $21.8 million or $0.71 per share. On average, six analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.66 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues increased to $91.72 million from $78.05 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $91.67 million.
