Porsche Cars North America September Sales Up 13% - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (POAHY.PK, POAHF.PK) Tuesday said sales for the month of September increased 13 percent to 3,093 vehicles from 2,736 vehicles in the same quarter last year.

Boxter/Cayman sales increased to 613 units from 251 units last year. Sales for 911 totaled 609 units, up from 509 units last year. Cayenne models had sales of 1,396 units in September, compared to 1,370 units last year. Panamera vehicles sales dropped to 475 units from 606 units last year.

"With the launch of eight new Panamera variants last month and the new benchmark setting plug-in Panamera S E-Hybrid in November, we are confident that we will continue this momentum over the final quarter and achieve our 2013 target, " said Detlev von Platen, President and CEO, Porsche Cars North America, Inc.
