Playboy Forms Integrated Corporate Marketing Group; Lisa Natale Heads Team in New Role as SVP, Corporate Events and Promotions
CHICAGO, June 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Playboy Enterprises Inc. (PEI) today announced a newly structured marketing team that will lead the company's corporate-wide, cross-divisional events and promotions across its Licensing, Entertainment and Publishing Groups to leverage the power of the Playboy brand.
"The department had been a part of the Publishing Group, but this new structure will allow us to optimize our key marketing programs, events and promotional efforts across all of our businesses," says Alex Vaickus, Executive Vice President, Playboy and President, Global Licensing Group. "An integrated corporate marketing group will leverage all of the assets of Playboy for our business-to-business partners, while also increasing the impact of our branded events and promotions to consumers."
The marketing team is responsible for planning, executing and coordinating corporate events and promotions across the business units, including the Playboy-Palms venture that will open in Las Vegas next year, the College Marketing Program and other high profile promotions and events, such as the signature Super Bowl party, that support the Playboy brand.
Lisa Natale in the newly created position of SVP, Corporate Events and Promotions will direct the corporate-wide initiative. She will also continue in her role as Marketing Director for the Publishing Group. Natale came to Playboy in 1989 from Hearst Corporation and has worked in a variety of marketing positions for Playboy including Corporate Marketing Research Director. She and her team will now report directly to Vaickus. Natale has a BS degree from Mercy College.

Reporting to Natale will be: -- Donna Tavoso, Division Vice President, Creative Services and Special Projects. Tavoso joined Playboy in 2000 and had previously worked as an independent marketing consultant as well as holding positions with Country America magazine and the former McCall's magazine. She has a BS in marketing management and a BA in fashion merchandising from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. -- Julia Light, Division Vice President, Marketing and College Marketing Program. Light joined Playboy in 1999 from Hearst Corporation and has a BS in business administration from Villanova University and an MBA in marketing from Fordham University. -- Megan Bergin, Integrated Marketing Manager. Bergin was a teacher before joining Playboy in January 2005. She has a BA in history from the University of Illinois, Urbana - Champaign and an MS in education from Northwestern University.
