Pinnacle Entertainment Posts Profit In Q3 - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc. (PNK) Thursday said third-quarter net income attributable to the company was $12.51 million, compared to a loss of $180.41 million last year. Net income per share was $0.21 versus a loss per share of $3.07 in the prior year period.

Adjusted income per share was $0.20, while it was $0.16 last year. On average, 15 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected earnings of $0.47 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Net revenues climbed 35.7 percent to $568.3 million from $418.93 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $564.95 million.

Anthony Sanfilippo, Chief Executive Officer of Pinnacle Entertainment, said, "Revenues in our markets stabilized during the 2014 third quarter, and we are optimistic this will continue given the encouraging trends we experienced in October."
