Physicians Realty Trust Says Underwriters Exercise Option To Buy Shares

(RTTNews) - Physicians Realty Trust (DOC) said that the underwriters of its upsized public offering of 16.50 million common shares of beneficial interest have exercised their option to purchase an additional 2.475 million common shares of beneficial interest at the public offering price per share of $16.40.

The additional net proceeds to the company from the exercise of the option to purchase additional common shares will be about $38.9 million, resulting in total net proceeds of approximately $297.2 million.

The sale of the common shares subject to the option to purchase additional common shares is expected to close concurrently with the closing of the 16.50 million common shares initially sold in the public offering on January 21, 2015.

All of the common shares, including common shares subject to the option to purchase additional common shares, are being offered by the company and will trade on the NYSE under the ticker symbol "DOC".
