Phoenix Investment Partners Names David N. Wadley National Sales Director, Retail Distribution

In this new position, Wadley is responsible for the day to daymanagement of Phoenix's 21 regional investment consultants who providededicated sales and service support to financial advisors who sellPhoenix's individual investment products, primarily mutual funds andseparately managed accounts. He reports to Steve Gresham, executivevice president of Phoenix Investment Partners, and senior vicepresident of The Phoenix Companies.

"Over the past two years, we have substantially fortified ourindividual investment offerings, including adding 37 new and adoptedretail mutual funds from our own money management affiliates and manynew partnerships with respected subadvisers," said Gresham. Since 1997, Wadley has been a regional investment consultant withPhoenix, marketing the company's mutual funds and managed accounts tofinancial advisors in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. He isthe 2006 recipient of the Phoenix Chairman's Cup, which is awardedannually to the investment consultant with demonstrated salesleadership and exceptional service to financial advisors.

Prior to joining Phoenix, Wadley was president of CAI Securities,where he was responsible for direct mutual fund sales throughindependent broker/dealers and financial planners in 14 states.Earlier he was president of Geodyne Securities in Houston, Texas, andheld senior positions with other securities firms. He earned thedesignation of Certified Investment Management Consultant from theInvestment Management Consultants Association in 2002, and became aCertified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) in 2006. His officewill remain in Tulsa, OK.
