phData Names Michael Cleveland as Chief Operating Officer

MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- phData, the global leader in Big Data consulting and managed services, today announced the appointment of Michael Cleveland as its new Chief Operating Officer, a new position within phData, effective immediately.  Cleveland was most recently the Director of Strategy and Business Transformation at BIAS Corporation.  He will report directly to Mac Noland, CEO of phData.

In his role as COO, Cleveland will have responsibility for all strategic and day-to-day operations at phData.  Moreover, Cleveland will help foster phData's partner network and provide support for all vendor relationships.

For the past 4 years, Cleveland played a key role for a $100M Oracle product and consulting company.  In his role, he developed and implemented operational procedures and strategic initiatives for the consulting, sales, marketing, operations, and recruiting teams.  He was also responsible for organizational design, reporting of corporate KPIs and the development of new growth strategies.  Prior to that, he was a Managing Consultant for IBM Global Business Services where he focused primarily on process improvement and global software development engagements.
