Peugeot S.A. (Paris:UG) hereby announces that Etablissements Peugeot Frères has launched arbitration proceedings against the Group's subsidiary Automobiles Peugeot concerning the ownership and use of the Peugeot trademark, other than in relation to its vehicles.

Etablissements Peugeot Frères is a holding company owned by the Peugeot family, which, both directly and indirectly through FFP, holds an interest in Peugeot SA.

Peugeot SA is confident of a successful resolution to this dispute.
