Pentair Inc Reports 17% Drop In Q3 Earnings

(RTTNews) - Pentair Inc (PNR) revealed earnings for third quarter that declined compared to the same period last year.

The company said its profit totaled $176.7 million, or $0.97 per share. This was down from $214.0 million, or $1.11 per share, in last year's third quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 11.9% to $1.55 billion. This was down from $1.76 billion last year.
