Penn National Gaming Names Gaye Gullo Corporate Vice President of Marketing
Penn National Gaming, Inc. (Nasdaq: PENN) announced today that, subject to customary regulatory approvals, Gaye Gullo, 48, has been named Corporate Vice President of Marketing. Ms. Gullo will assume this position November 10, 2008 and will report directly to Penn National Gaming President and Chief Operating Officer, Timothy J. Wilmott.
Ms. Gullo brings to Penn National over 20 years of diverse regional and major market casino resort experience, over which time she led corporate and property specific marketing initiatives for several regional and major market properties with a focus on driving operational improvements and returns from marketing budgets. Ms. Gullo most recently served as Vice President Customer Relationship Management at Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut where she established and implemented player loyalty programs and customer communication strategies to develop and retain key players and enhance customers’ spend per visit. Prior to joining Mohegan Sun, Ms. Gullo held various senior management positions at Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc. over nearly 20 years, developing integrated marketing strategies at the corporate and local level in markets including Nevada, New Jersey, Illinois, Tennessee and Iowa, most recently serving as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Horseshoe and Harrah’s Casinos in Council Bluffs, IA from 2004-2007.
