Paychex Inc. Profit Rises 10% In Q4

(RTTNews) - Paychex Inc. (PAYX) revealed earnings for its fourth quarter that rose compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $178.10 million, or $0.49 per share. This was up from $161.20 million, or $0.44 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.49 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 8.9% to $753.90 million. This was up from $692.20 million last year.
