PAREXEL International Reports 27% Gain In Q2 Bottom Line

(RTTNews) - PAREXEL International (PRXL) reported earnings for its second quarter that increased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $48.7 million, or $0.90 per share. This was up from $38.4 million, or $0.69 per share, in last year's second quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.72 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 5.1% to $604.2 million. This was up from $575.0 million last year.
