Panasonic: LUMIX GH4 To Be Available At Retail Locations From May

(RTTNews) - Panasonic Corp. (PC), an expert in Digital Single Lens Mirrorless or DSLM technology, Monday said its LUMIX GH4 would be available at retail locations at the beginning of May.

The GH4 is the world's first DSLM with 4K cinematic recording capability designed for both still photographers and cinematographers.

Its advanced features include a newly developed 16.05-Megapixel Digital Live MOS Sensor and Venus Engine achieving high speed, high sensitivity image recording as well as high speed response required for professionals and practical auto focus options.

The LUMIX GH4 camera body will be available at $1699.99 and the Video Adapter for cinematography can be bought for $1999.99 at shop.panasonic.com and other photo specialty retailers.

The existing GH3 model will continue to be available after the introduction of the GH4.
