Owens Corning Reports 44% Increase In Q4 Earnings

(RTTNews) - Owens Corning (OC) revealed a profit for its fourth quarter that increased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $79 million, or $0.66 per share. This was higher than $55 million, or $0.47 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.45 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 2.4% to $1.29 billion. This was up from $1.26 billion last year.
