Orosur Mining Inc: Shares Issueance and Annual Stock Option Grant

Orosur Mining Inc. ("Orosur” or the "Company”) (TSX/AIM: OMI), a South American-focused gold producer, developer and explorer announces that it has granted an aggregate of 2,920,000 stock options to directors, officers and employees.

Orosur officers and employees were granted a total of 2,070,000 stock options and the balance equivalent to 850,000 stock options were granted to the following Directors:

All options are exercisable at a price of Cdn$0.105 per common share, on or before January 20, 2021. The options will vest in three equal parts: the first part immediately and the second and third parts on January 20, 2017 and January 20, 2018, respectively.

The Company also issued 2,103,894 common shares (the "Shares”) to satisfy the termination consideration with Mr. Pablo Marcet, as previously announced on December 1, 2015, bringing Mr. Marcet’s total share ownership to 2,188,269, or 2.22% of the total number of common shares currently issued and outstanding. Application has been made for the Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission"). It is expected that Admission will become effective and that dealings will commence on 27 January 2016 in respect of the Shares.

Following Admission, the total number of common shares currently issued and outstanding will be 98,738,975 and the total number of options outstanding is 7,932,500 following the options grant.
