Orbcomm Q1 Loss Widens - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Orbcomm Inc. (ORBC), a global provider of Machine-to-Machine solutions, reported that its net Loss attributable to common Stockholders for the first quarter ended March 31, 2015 widened to $2.9 million or $0.04 per share from $0.4 million or $0.01 per share in the prior year.

Excluding Acquisition-Related and Integration costs of $2.5 million, Adjusted net loss was $0.4 million and Adjusted basic loss was $0.01 for the first quarter of 2015 compared to Adjusted Net Income of $0.8 million and adjusted basic EPS of $0.01 for the comparable period last year.

Total revenues for the quarter were $42.3 million compared to $19.4 million during the same period of 2014, an increase of 119%.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report break even per share and revenues of $42.13 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
