Ontario Volkswagen Raises Awareness of the Latest Volkswagen SUV

ONTARIO, Calif., Oct. 12, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Ontario Volkswagen is educating Ontario residents about the 2018 Volkswagen Atlas. The 2018 Atlas is Volkswagen's latest three-row SUV and was introduced for the 2018 model year. This SUV's roomy interior and various comfort features were designed with large-group travel in mind.

The 2018 Volkswagen Atlas is offered in five trims (S, SE, SE w/technology, SEL and SEL Premium) and with two engine options. The standard engine found in S, SE, SE w/technology and SEL models is a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine which outputs 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Also available is a V-6 engine producing 276 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The V-6 engine is optional for the first four trim levels and come standard with SEL Premium models.

Passenger seating inside the 2018 Atlas was built for optimal personal space and comfort. Front-row seats provide 41.3 inches of headroom and 41.5 inches of legroom. The driver's seat and steering wheel are adjustable, allowing drivers of any size to personalize their seating for better space and visibility. Rear-row passengers have 40.4 inches of headroom and 37.6 inches of legroom. The third row was designed to accommodate three adults without feeling cramped.

Standard safety features found in the 2018 Atlas include daytime running lights, turn signal mirrors, an engine immobilizer, rear door child safety locks, traction control and a post-collision safety system. Comfort, convenience and entertainment features found in every 2018 Atlas model include a 6.5-inch touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ smartphone integration, dual-zone manual climate control and Bluetooth connectivity.
