Ontario Export Awards presented to 10 innovative businesses at Toronto gala

Laipac Technology Inc. named 2018 Ontario Exporter of the Year; other winners include Innovative Automation, Hydrogenics Corporation and Concours Mold Inc.

TORONTO, Nov. 22, 2018 /CNW/ - The winners of the 2018 Ontario Export Awards were announced at a gala event at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ont. on November 20.

More than 150 manufacturing executives and representatives from trade, government and industry attended the prestigious event. The awards recognize leadership, exporting growth and the creation of local jobs across a diverse range of sectors of Ontario's economy.

Winners and finalists represent a wide range of Ontario's economy, from transportation equipment and services, to consumer products, food, beverage and agriculture, and manufacturing and resources.
